Information Request: Wellsford crops, coffee trees
Hello,
I am just starting out with an 20 acre piece of land out in Port Albert Wellsford and would like to grow Feijoa's, lime's, passion fruit, and possibly coffee trees. Just dabbling in all as you can see but I need a little more information re the coffee trees such as
Where do I buy them
What type does one buy
I am having trouble finding a www on coffee trees to grow in NZ
Cost 's
and where to dispose of the end result.
Is there any information that you may be able to give me on any or all the fruits.
Many thanks
Melissa

NZTCA has a fact sheet on Feijoas, and there is information in a publication
we publish called "Treecrops In New Zealand. Basic Notes." NZTCA is
involved in trials. The Feijoa Growers Association has plenty of info for
member. For joining contact the Secretary, RD5, Palmerston North.
Passionfruit. Try

There is a
growers organisation, but I dont know the contact details. Try the New
Zealand Fruitgrowers Association.
Sorry, I have no information on coffee.
Cheers
Ray
Sez Les: Coffee plants have appeared in the nursery of wholesaler
Incredible Edibles. Ask at any good plant supply/retailer.
