Apart from the Crop & Food CD-ROM about growing & using black truffles, is there any other readily available info on how to get started, etc.?..with particular relevance to North Canterbury?

Few topics in treecrops are as shrouded by bullshit as truffles. Having been to a few truffle field days, the secrecy and dis-information stories are simply astonishing, entertaining and disappointing. Discouragement of competition and tax avoidance seem to be the major goals, and these persuits are not confined to overseas growers.

If you can find better information than from Ian Hall's commendable efforts, many tree croppers would love to know about it...
