LECTURE: Dr Linda Newstrom-Lloyd of Landcare Research, on planting trees to support healthy bee populations

Dr Newstrom-Lloyd researched ‘Trees for Bees’ during 2013 at Eastwoodhill arboretum, focusing on trees and shrubs which provide a high quality pollen source for bees.
From diverse plants at the arboretum many were identified with the potential to increase pollen supply during lean seasons.
