Sunday 11th November at 1:00pm – Ross Road, Whakamarama, Tauranga
Hosts: Michael and Anne
At Whakaberry Farm we will initially concentrate on the 400 boysenberries now growing undercover but there is so much more to see. A good planting of various figs, casimiroas, undercover blueberries plus some outside for the birds, cherries, walnut covered in small nuts, apricots, apples and more. The property is a treasure trove of food bearing plants. Recently there were 11 baby ducks running after mum plus chooks of various colours and types.
How to get there
From north or south take SH2 to the Whakamarama shops then turn into Barrett Road, a short piece of Old Highway then right into Whakamarama Road then after a reasonable drive Right into Ross Road. Continue on past Sinclair Road. Our signs will be out.
