Newsletter people - Thank you for posting a copy of your newsletter to web management, so your events get into the nationwide events listing above.
But did you know you can do one extra little thing to publicise your cause: email your newsletter as early as possible to the web site manager. Potential treecroppers will get to see your upcoming events in detail in your own branch's Events page!
Or if it's easier: attach a file of just your event details, (or any other items of interest; colour photos of events reviews) - to make your branch Events page worthwhile. Use it as a supplement to your newsletter!
Examples: See how Branch Events pages have been used by
Waikato and
Wellington - Horowhenua
branches. And TreeCropper uses supplementary web space.
Privacy: We take great care to remove sensitive details, especially email addresses, private property host surnames; and street numbers – on the day of the event, your Treecrops Event banners guide visitors to the venue:
Note that posting the printed newsletter alone does not qualify for the branch web page service. Immediacy is key; there is not time to await snail mail, then scan and web-code your event notices - by which time the event might have passed!
The deal is that you need to email the event details at the earliest opportunity, to achieve the longest possible internet exposure. This has been proven to attract visitors to our events, many becoming new members.
However, posted newsletters are still important, to provide brief notice for the Events Nationwide summary. Of course, your newsletters are always read thoroughly, appreciated and archived.
So, simply email us with your newsletter file attached. We can process most digital formats.
Other ideas and suggestions welcomed. Thanks for your consideration.
