How to find and type in the current "User Name" and "Password" keystrokes
- Current "User Name" and -
- Current "Password" help is near the foot of page 2 of your latest TreeCropper.
- Access remains active until you close your browser. You do not need to log off. The above words will be changed periodically.
More Info:
- Click once in the blank box under User Name to start typing the User Name there.
- Similarly, under Password. You need to type the Password carefully - each keystroke appears as a masking character.
(This is standard practise for such forms, so no-one can read your screen over your shoulder.) - You can let your browser remember this information if it offers you the little box to tick, but -
- The User Name and Password will change occasionally.
- Correction: Membership invoices may state that you need you membership number for web access. This is no longer required.
Why, anyway?
- A few areas of www.treecrops.org.nz are intended for access only by members of NZTCA.
- There is NO top-secret information to hide - it's simply that we rely on minimal membership fees and sales of our modestly-priced publications as fund raising for our non-profit organisation. Otherwise, we could provide the information for free.
- We ask everyone including members to respect others' privacy and this privilege; please always support our goals when accessing and using our information in any form.
